I am an admitted article nerd. I have over 3,600 podiatry journal articles saved on my computer. I have a dangerous level of access to journals. It is a sickness, I know. I wanted to put together a list of essential articles that every podiatric physician/student should read. I ended up with more than I intended but it is a reasonable list.
What are my favorites? The Christensen series on first ray biomechanics is brilliant. The two Amis articles on equinus are profound. The Dayton and LaPorta articles are changing the hallux abducto valgus paradigm. All the diabetic foot articles are a gold mine of information. Enjoy!
